Default Exhaust diameter?

I've been wondering, what is the best sized diameter exhaust to have for a vq37vhr? I've got some janky ish going on underneath with a "custom" single piece catback and some bolt ons, but have been...apprehensive on pullling the trigger on an exhaust.

I'd like to know the best size, 3" or 2.75"? I'm currently NA going flex, then boost.

3 for boost, but it's too big for NA.

I agree with Chuck. Go with 2.5" for NA.

If your end goal is without a doubt boost, get the 3" it won't hurt an NA setup, but won't give anymore benefit then a 2.5, and you won't be restricted when you decide to boost.

it's all in prep for boost down the road...so looks like 3" it is.

I'll just keep the Stillen HFCs on, they should leave enough of a choke for appropriate backpressure
