I think drop ins are the way to go if I'm not tracking my car. I want more sound/Torque/HP and I think intakes would lessen my low rpm torque which my car is a daily driver. So test pipes would give me best bang for my buck, from the people I've talked to they say just leave your intake alone.
I forgot where I read it, but an independent tuner actually lost a little hp with the Stillen G3 on the dyno. When they removed the bumper, however, that's when they saw the claimed gains. I don't know about you, but I like driving with my front bumper on. I still bought them though.
