Why do you want to know? What knowledge will you gain from the diameter? Where do you want folks to measure? Are you OK with the fact that different areas of the exhaust will have different diameters? Do you know that if you increase the diameter on the exhaust, you will lose power?

on one side not at the y-pipe section. and you only lose power when the piping is too large unless all these aftermarket exhaust systems are meant to lose power and and just gain noise.
