Default Cleaning stillen G3 cai

How often do you guys clean your stillen G3 CAI ? It is kind of hard to clean it because you have to remove the front bumper since I got installed in Nissan dealership. I don't have any tools , don't know nothing about cars , but I just bought the intakes anyway last week . Right now it is time to be concerned when should I need to clean it . I known my question and concerned could be sound stupid for you guys , but nobody would know things until they asked !

K&N recommends every 50k miles. To be more prudent every 25k miles. Since you dont have the luxury of knowing to take off the bumpers.

Once you remove the bumper, it's basically rinsing the air filter completely with water to clean off the old oil and gunks, let it sit in the sun until completely dried, re-oil the filters with the k&n kit from autozone, then reinstall. You wont be able to drive your car during this time so plan to do it on a day off or on a weekend.

If you can remove your rim off the car you can take off the bumper. It's just as easy.

Yes you do not need to re oil. Yes even though you have a dry flow filter you still need to clean it.

Removing the bumper is easy...on here and other sites step by step with pictures exist.

Tools...go to Lowes Home Depot get some. 50 bucks will buy what you need. Get a dremel if you have not installed it...youll need one to get the pipes to fit.
