Fun night......Was cruising up to go do a photoshoot at tantalus and the unthinkable happened....Not sure how, but my driver front spindle snapped.....Was braking and turning right and my car decided going straight would be more fun....heres the aftermath.
![]() ![]() ![]() Front bumper is damaged but I believe the crash bar is intact. Steering wheel air bag did deploy. Luckily it was slow speed (roughly 25mph) and I didn't hit a tree or anything. Just went into tall brush. I'm pretty sure salvageable but he passenger rear quarter panel has me worried. Undercarriage is good. Driver front wheel and hub assembly need to be replaced for sure. Suspension looks ok.

dropped her off at the shop today. Shouldnt be an issue getting it fixed. Undercarriage was pretty clean, no damage. The left front hub was destroyed and of course the passenger rear quarter panel and passenger door took some damage. Front crash beam was actually still in tact and undamaged. Air bag did deploy though but only the steering wheel one. Driver front wheel and tire were damaged. None of the headlights was damaged.

That is a heartbreaker ... unbelievable actually. It's not like you were doing a 9G turn or something ... When I had my PW 350Z damaged, the shop wanted to paint all the adjacent panels so the paint would match. It added more to the repair cost but was worth it. I am really sorry. Maybe the Honolulu pot holes weakened it .....

Okay so before I post it up for real, I wanted to see if anyone here would like to buy my motordyne exhaust. I really don't want to ship it because, for one, its going to be a b**** trying to find a box that big to ship it in (I don't have the original box it came in.) And two, I would have to raise the price for people in the mainland because of shipping prices. I don't have any pictures yet, as they are still on the car. But I will probably be taking them off this Sunday or Monday.
Now for the important pieces of information: Reason for Selling: Like everyone else says, "I will be going a different route." But in all seriousness, I will be going for a lighter exhaust, most likely a full titanium one (Not sure which one yet, so don't ask lol )Pros: -This exhaust sounds amazing and looks beautiful. -Only about 3,000 miles on the exhaust. -I will give 3 different exhaust tips and an extra exhaust clamp. -No major damages. Cons: -When I received this exhaust, I guess it was slightly damaged in the shipping process, but there was a small crack in the mid muffler. But I repaired the crack before I put it on the car. I had it professionally TIG welded at Exhaust Systems Hawaii on King St. -I would have to give this exhaust an 8.5/10 in the fitment department. The passenger side pipe would hang a little lower than the driver side and some times the exhaust would rattle a little bit. (I am really anal about pipes lining up, but according to my friends its not even that bad lol) According to some people in the mainland (couple of reviews from forum members, just search for their reviews), their exhaust fits fine and nothing rattles. Maybe I had bad luck installing this exhaust, which I hope it is. It really is an amazing exhaust but if you guys have any questions feel free to pm me if you have any questions ![]() P.S. MSRP on Motordyne's website is $1,885 before shipping. If you are going to shoot me a price, don't be stupid and low ball me. I will just ignore your message. Thanks for looking ![]() Here's a little sound clip for you guys: |
