Looks like tomorrow's shipment that was suppossed to happen today will happen tomorrow... Maybe they meant Tomorrow Tomorrow...

Sorry guys, just had to make some humor out of this whole situation..Think I'm becoming delirious with the whole waiting, anticipation, miscommunication and silence...Spoke to a few members already and none seem to have gotten any calls, or tracking numbers from Berks...and some of them are confused since they have not been called for full payment...Wonder how that's gonna work....I mean would Berk really ship out without collecting full payment first?

Hey all,

I just wanted to introduce myself and let you all know that I'll be proactive in helping you guys stay up to date with what's going on.

There was unfortunately some circumstances beyond our control in getting the exhausts out as quickly as we wanted to. The last thing we ever want to do is to harm our business and to make our customers unhappy or unsatisfied. That is not what Berk Technology is all about, and we guarantee we'll do what we need to do to make this right to you guys.

The good news is we have gotten over the hump that we needed to get over and we expect production to be smooth and consistent on the exhausts from here on out. We intend to be shipping out all the pre-orders within the next week and a half and will be emailing each and every one of you with a tracking #. And again please remember you all will receive an additional $100 discount on the pre-order for any of the inconvenience that's been caused.

We value all of our customers and their hard-earned money. At the same time, we want to ensure we get the highest quality product in your hands. Sometimes this means switching vendors for some of our components because they ended up not being what we expected and the last thing we want to do is pass that down to our customers.

We are confident that each and every one of you will love the exhaust when you receive it and we hope to uphold the quality that we stand for. And if any one of you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to PM me directly. I am here to assist you.

Thank you for all those that have been patient and we are working diligently night and day to fulfill your orders without sacrificing a bit of quality to the product.

So? You haven't begun shipping yet?
Were there more problems this week?
Is there any way that you can post a list using the handles from the forum to show where we stand and when you expect the exhaust to ship for that person? (similar to the way Tony does over at Fast Intentions)
That would go a long way to show us that you've turned a corner with how you are going to keep us informed.

I will work on compiling a list with forum handles, but I personally only have access to first and last names on the pre-orders.

There have been no problems this week, it's all about assembly right now and test fitting to ensure every exhaust is perfect prior to shipping. We are literally test fitting an exhaust on a vehicle right now. As I mentioned at the end of the day we want to make sure the product you all have been waiting patiently for is what you expect. We hope to start shipping the first sets out tomorrow.

I will do my best to update the post with shipping dates along with your handle as soon as I confidently can say so rather than make an empty promise.

Fair enough?

What you are saying is that I was given bad information on Monday when I called to cancel my order.
I was told that the pipes are in and they will be shipping in ONE day. That screams of telling me something that is not entirely true just to get me to stay.

Yes we did receive all the sub assemblies on Monday and we had every intention of getting them out by yesterday. However we weren't able to get our hands on the 370Z that was promised to us. We had to drive out today to borrow one from a friend in order to do the test fitting.

It came down to shipping out exhausts that weren't test fitted and that's just not a compromise we are willing to do.

I apologize if it came off to you as something that wasn't entirely true and we should have contacted you to let you know. Just please understand we are just as overwhelmed as you can possibly think with what's going on, and we hate it much more that you guys are upset. We aren't in the business of making customers unhappy, it's common sense that unhappy customers = no customers. Nothing we do is intentional, we do our best to do what we can to keep you guys happy. Unfortunately other broken promises that were beyond our control sets us back and rather than ship you something that we're not comfortable with, we'd rather wait an extra day to get it on a car and be 100% happy.

And just for the record, we have no problems issuing out refunds for those that do not want to wait. We know how frustrating this can be and we want to do what's right. But we can comfortably say we are finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel!
