The proper way to address this situation would have been to go to the professor (I'd likely not address her as a bitch) and tell her that you have been sick and ask for her to let you take the test a few days late. Props to you for apologizing. No sympathy for cheating from me, especially when there are a number of people who aren't fortunate enough to be able to afford higher education and would work their *** off to be in your class. What you call "audacity" is what I call the professors job, although one could argue that bestowing knowledge, not testing is their job.

I have been kicked out of class before. I pulled an all nighter in grad school and fell asleep in the last class the following day. That was pretty embarassing since it was the second day of class and the professor had already taken the time to memorize all 80 students names. All 80 students knew me too since this was 3rd year and we had already had every single class together for the preceeding 2 years. I apologized to the prof the next day, made an effort to not let that happen again. It was one of the hardest classes I've taken (Systemic Pathology), but it is also the class I have probably ever learned the most in, and use on a daily basis in my job. I made a C. The Prof and I ended up being friends.

The point of this post?
Shame on You!

For the last 10 years. Every time I go to a class or training that's in a class room. I'm good for 45 minutes to an hour before I ZZZZZ out. And I tell them up front about this, and they don't believe me until it happens. LMAO I tell them that if they don't hold my attention. It's nighty nighty.
