I think the changes are going to do the trick. Radiator temp doesn't seem to move at all. I haven't seen a oil temp over 145 and that was getting off the highway and getting stuck in traffic for 30 min without turning the fans on.

Hey guys.. It's been a while since I last jumped on this forum, but I just caught up on this thread..
There has been a lot of good information shared, and I'm also looking forward to hearing how the set-up works on your next track day.. Good luck JWillis, and thank you for using our product in your beautiful track car! I'm going to be featuring it on some of our social media/website if you don't mind.. can you PM me or email me (info@csfrace.com) your spec sheet.

We are not as hot as you but that time of year we are high 90s and crazy humid so you are burning up and soaked the whole time. I don't get it,
the weather right now is lows in the upper 40s/ high in the lower 70s and they don't have an event until May 1st. |

I was able to test the new set up at Homestead Miami Speedway yesterday and for the first time I have no cooling issues! Radiator never passed half on the stupid lights and oil never passed 220.

Since I'm a road race guy, but prefer N/A cars, I've been doing some work too. Your thread (and a recent DE) inspired me to get going on my setup for the 2015 season. Here's my latest progress pic:

Also - I read in another post that your engine oil cooler is not mounted in front of the radiator - is that correct? There's not much room between the rad fan shroud and the pulleys on the front of the engine.

My car is a 2009 so it didn't have that cooler but if it had I would have removed it. I have a Stillen bumper with the two extra vents. I have my oil cooler in one and my trans cooler in the other. It was the best thing I did for cooling everything. ![]() Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
