personally I thought they weren't bad you can do a lot worse. On here it is hard to get props unless your wheels are jdm and $2000 each or factory wheels plastidipped.

I like the rims but I think I don't like the tire setup the most..and there will be no plasti dipped rims on my car. But I can powder coat in my shop so I mite do that. ...I'll make the final decision when I drop the car this weekend

Rob298mx 10-21-2014 03:39 PM

i wasn't mad! Just a wild wheel choice haha

BBRSpeedWorks 10-21-2014 04:29 PM

Thanks. It's a great spot so you don't have to take your eyes off the road

zguynate 10-21-2014 07:10 PM

I need that boost controller. My older profec failed me when I went to z1 last Thursday. It wouldn't hold boost over 11psi :(

Which spring do you have in the WGs?

The springs have like a 1.5-2 lb tolerance so if you at running the yellow spring Sasha suggested with a boost controller then that could very well be your problem. Your EBC is limited to 100% over the WG spring. When tuning for power I brought the whole bag of springs to my tuner in case I needed to swap for a larger spring. I suggest you swap tp the black spring and dial the last bit of boost in.

What did you end up making at 11 psi by the way?

zguynate 10-21-2014 08:05 PM

I have the 7psi springs in it. I wanted 550whp but ended up getting 532whp in 5th gear.

Edited my post. The yellow spring is probably the problem

BBRSpeedWorks 10-21-2014 08:24 PM

7 psi should be the red/green spring

Good luck with Z fever. More tuners the better but I have not heard any positive things. Not much of anything besides Silvia stuff.

Jon and Z1 all the way. I live near Z Fever, but have never chose to do business with them. Have heard too many horror stories back in the day.

1slow370 10-29-2014 03:21 PM

MAYBE that was rebuildable if you bored it haha depending on whether it had rusted straight through the sleeve or not yet lol.

BBRSpeedWorks 10-29-2014 05:10 PM

Ooo I'm not going away from jon no way in hell. ..

ironhide 10-29-2014 05:12 PM

don't do it they sent you a jacked up block, I could only imagine the tune.just get it built and have jon tune it.he's the only one I would trust with my car.
