my secondarys are ran to my intake be4 the turbo. i dont have any idle issue's....

You have an intake?

yes it's one of the major diff's between mine and BP's kit....it runs from turbo to behind the bumper.....

You relocate the oil filter? Seems like a toght route either way.

yes i have a oil reloction kit. i have no issues with clearance. and never have to worry about rain.....

ok so doug text me after i called him 5 times with no answer and said he shippied my new block today and i will have it monday...waiting to see if i will get it...funny thing is everytime i say i want my money back he says if shipped or trys ad fix his mistakes....this dude is BS...i dont care what he has done..

He'll no I'm staying with jon...Jon helped me alot with the base tune and the parts to build my mystery block...doug offered me a free tune and talked **** about z1. But all in all z1 stands up to there name doug and z fever has not...

why not buy a brand new OEM nissan Block and Crank? I can give you a killer deal on it, it's more than $750 but it's brand new OEM. all the GTR guys buy brand new blocks when building a motor and it's surprisingly affordable compared to buying, shipping, and tearing down a used block. plus something new you don't have to clean, deck, and so on if you are staying stock bore.

I agree with you but I did get some quotes on new block they was around 1300.00 and i did not price a crank. But be4 I bought this one I was going to just build my block but then I looked around and found a used block and was like then I wouldn't have a lot of down time and as far machine work I get it for free cuz of my father. But now I should have went ahead and bought it new so screwed over. But I agree with you....

Update so as many of you know i bought a short block to build. well with all the BS i have got from doug at Z feveror Fever racing sent me a rusty POS. After that he said he sent me the wrong one when i said i wanted my money back. So he sent me another and said it would be here Monday which is today....so i took off work again for the 4th time. (im in the Army this aint easy) I watched the fedex guy go past my house, i sent him a text. he said fedex had issues with planes not flying this weekend...(he is in tampa and i'm in southern georgia) so i finally get a tracking number and look at it and it says it was picked up today at 1038am....what do i do? i want to hurt this man. this is pissed me off so dam bad i almost sold my car...lol..that well never happen...but i text him and say dude wtf he said the system must be missed up...I dont know what to do about this orther then let forum know about it...

yall need to contact george and nick at soho motorsports. them guys will build your **** right and theyre stand up guys so you can expect zero ******** from them. Nicks tuning is also very legit

Good news
1. new bare block came in from old Z fever nd it's a good block. so the build can continue.
2. I honed the first block and it cleaned up great and still is within factory specs

Now i know the first block is a 2013 370z block and with less then 20k miles off of the serial number. the second one didn't come with the serial so idk nothing about it...which block should i chose...hmmmmm

whichever one has a better crank? could always have one x rayed and if it has any flaws go with the other as well.

man i got 3 cranks all good 2...lol..

lol i did but when he sent me the ruff block that neede more work then what he said. he said i could keep the fisrt one...i just got it back from the machine shop and it's all good to go....now i have to good blocks.. plus the one in the car.....I'm about to turn up the boost to see what it well blow at...lol....jk

That would be an awesome stock block sacrifice if you do end up doing it. Turn the boost up .5lbs at a time and run for 5 mins? (more? less? IDK) until it booms. It would be INVALUABLE information to z guyz world wide.

Too bad this test/research can't be done on a Dyno. That will add additional invaluable info on estimated whp breaking point. That option is is expensive though.

If you really are planning to test the block of its boost handling capabilities, I wan tot be the first to say Thank You.

ya do to the fact i love my wife i dont think i'll have a dyno anythime soon...but i will turn the boost up i want to see where it will get to. i think it will blow soon as i go into 5th gear at full boost....

any vote on what psi it pop at...this is kinda scary but i wanting to know when it well go bomb....i just told my wife what i'm going to do.. she sid i'm dumb...lol... but i'm about to leave...ill update soon
