My 5k budget mid mount turbo build

You have access to some sort of plane right??? Fly down there and kick his *** and take your money. That's not how you do business and I would be beyond furious.

Hey man, at least your not in this alone. I have been trying to get my built motor back/done since the end of june! My car is just sitting outside by a shop rusting away.

I feel you I hate dealing with people/company's that can't get there **** right..ever since I've been back from my deployments it makes me mad when people **** up at there job...you should see me at buyer king...but I expect a product in a timely manner.

yall need to contact george and nick at soho motorsports. them guys will build your **** right and theyre stand up guys so you can expect zero ******** from them. Nicks tuning is also very legit

Good news
1. new bare block came in from old Z fever nd it's a good block. so the build can continue.
2. I honed the first block and it cleaned up great and still is within factory specs

Now i know the first block is a 2013 370z block and with less then 20k miles off of the serial number. the second one didn't come with the serial so idk nothing about it...which block should i chose...hmmmmm

whichever one has a better crank? could always have one x rayed and if it has any flaws go with the other as well.

lol i did but when he sent me the ruff block that neede more work then what he said. he said i could keep the fisrt one...i just got it back from the machine shop and it's all good to go....now i have to good blocks.. plus the one in the car.....I'm about to turn up the boost to see what it well blow at...lol....jk

That would be an awesome stock block sacrifice if you do end up doing it. Turn the boost up .5lbs at a time and run for 5 mins? (more? less? IDK) until it booms. It would be INVALUABLE information to z guyz world wide.

Nice thread BBR. Very impressive stuff going on. Glad you got the spare block situation figured out. Any vidz of the 1g Talon? My first car was a 95 GSX. Got a soft spot for DSMs.
