The AAM TT requires 3" downpipes (part of the kit). These downpipes also end in 3"! Therefore my Motordyne catback (bolts to 2.5" stock downpipes) didn't fit. I had to upgrade to 3" catback.

Having said that, it'll depend on whether you have a 2.5" F.I. catback (which I presume) or their 3" turbo catback.
Maybe KN21283 can elaborate on his FI catback.

From what I remember there's a little play between the bolts and flanges that allowed the FI cbe to center up with the down pipes.

Eeh, I was planning on getting the FI 18" res. CBE. Is this going to fit the AAM TT kit?

If you're planning on a turbo build you should be buying the 3" FI exhaust.

3" might be overkill if you never build a block but I agree FI exhaust is the way to go.
