Reflections on GTM over the years

Little update on my current situation.

My small claims court date was yesterday, and interestingly, Sam did not show up to the court. I won the claim by default, heh. Note that Sam had 2 months to figure out how to resolve the issue, or make arrangements to show up to court. He was sent a certified mail stating that he was summoned by law to attend this hearing.

The court is going to mail me information regarding on how to collect on the debt owed, and I'll be hearing from that soon.

I wonder how this is gonna pan out for him.

Now comes the hardest part which is collecting the money, especially if he declares bankruptcy you wont get a dime regardless what the court order says.

That's the worst part. What a system we have built for ourselves. If he can't pay off his debt he should be thrown in jail averaging 2 dollars an hour for his time. He should spend the amount of money he owes to everyone in jail.

I agree with you, good luck to all you guys with getting your money back. Maybe the guys that live close can protest in front of his store? I know the word got out over the internet about GTM business practices and what his previous employes had to say about SAM but I mean not everybody who walks in to his store checks the forums.
