I had this very discussion with Sam about 7-8 weeks ago, expressed my concerns about not having any products yet at all but having paid in full over 1 year ago, I asked to have all of my items shipped to me that were apparently in stock (everything he told me was in stock except for 2x manifolds and some sensor component). I even said I will pay extra for shipping when the manifolds come in, he agree'd to this and asked me to give him 2-3 days to get the picking list organised, 2-3 days went by, I had rang and asked where my shipping tracking number was and he said they aren't going to send the parts anymore as him and his team think it's a bad idea.

that's when I pulled the plug and started my refund.
That right there speaks loud and clear...

Stupid question... so are we pretty much SOL if we need to order replacement manifolds or upgrades (e.g., new manifolds and components or even upgrade to larger turbos)?

About 90% on the forum will say you are SOL. I disagree, like I said from day 1, I have no trouble contacting them and ordering parts and having them do my work. It might take an unneeded amount of time to get it all sorted and ordered, but it will happen eventually.

I ordered a new driver side manifold back in December. Called, Sam answered, told him what happened (cracked), paid for new manifold, had it about a week later. The turn around time would suggest they have some of the older (prone to cracking) manifolds on the shelf.

Just to play devil's advocate. Sam called me yesterday regarding my build and spark plug choice. He actually called me.

I was told by a pretty reputable shop that they are going under and can't afford to fulfill their commitments

New to the forum but far from new in modifications to a vehicle and the conduction of business. Having now completely read this thread it boggles my mind how you defend GTM. I am not bashing them but in almost all of your defenses it seems like you're not buying what you're selling.

When it comes to capitalism I don't the words "unneeded amounts of time to get a product to you" even exist. I am not flaming and respect you for standing up for a product you believe in but countless accounts here prove otherwise.

With time and work if the guy Sam is working hard to fix the company, it will show. Hopefully he does for the sake of his wallet and reputation.

Interesting read none the less, time to go do more reading.

I remember a certain member with a twin supercharger install who made defending posts all the time for Sam. And then he got his car back. And then shortly after, the car was sold..

When your build is done and everything is great, we'll care about your devil advocacy.

I emailed and called them on my Cracked drivers side exhaust manifold and got nothing back.. Bottom line is They just don't care about this forum anymore because they know that we know how CRappy they are now and there a lot of other potential customers out there that don't have a clue about GTM.... We all need to work on getting the word out to others about gtm to save some people a lot of time and money..

I haven't got a response to my emails in over 2 months.
Phone calls.... Sam is always in a "meeting" supposedly.

GTM is absolutely a nightmare!

With a company holding so many thousands of dollars and just continues to feed lies after lies....refuses to issue refunds with no product to deliver...NO customer service available at all. and is still a forum sponsor????? How is this??

Anyone here speaking highly of GTM after this group buy money scheme is a lurker of GTM

As far as the group but, I cannot comment, but as a shop, they are still there. Talked to Sam about ~5 hours ago.

You seem to be the only person in this thread that gets to talk to him.
