Reflections on GTM over the years

Well except for the 5 or so odd years that they were the only company really making a kit for for our cars, well actually two kits, and built motors before the parts were readily available. yeah if you don't count that.

Those 5 years never happened. They have never been the only one making kits, they were just the only one bombarding the forums, and putting their name on everything anyone did. My Z has been twin turbo for a very long time, never have and never would use a single GTM part.

K1 rods (which are what GTM relabels as their own) have been available for a long time. Piston manufacturers always have and always will make you whatever you want within a couple weeks. GTM doesnt make any of those components... from since ever you thought GTM did, they were already available elsewhere.

So ya, I dont count any of that, you are just a victim of the grand illusion. Most "GTM" parts can be purchased straight from their true manufacturer.
