No, this is the exhaust manifold for their twin turbo kit.
Early manifolds are known to crack.

Its not that its being concealed, Its just that there currently is no source other than GTM. Someone that both member "DEpointfive0" and myself know was presented an opportunity to scoop up the manifolds if GTM does not. He reached out to us in attempt to gauge the potential value/risk of the investment. I do not believe that anybody is going to do anything with them until GTM's intentions are clear... I dont think anybody is interested nor does the option really exist if GTM chooses to continue forward with them. I believe what we have here is somebody overseas that is becoming anxious to move the manifolds is and investigating alternate sources *if* it comes to that.

As an FYI to anyone wanting a set of manifolds... If the 50 sets aren't purchased, which God knows there won't be 50 buyers... What's going to happen is that the cost of 50 needs to be absorbed. Hell, I'd even take it upon myself to refund every "old" buyer for "newer" buyer that buys one

Ex: 30 buyers are found at $1000, every new guy that buys one, every one of the 30 members gets $40 back until the price is $800~

Question: With whomever is duplicating these gtm manifolds what kind of guarantee if any will be offered???

I have already placed an order for a new manifold for a customer, I would tend to think that GTM is committed at this point.

They are not duplicates, they are the actual manifolds. As for guarantees etc, way too early in the game to even think about that. A company overseas asked a guy here if he wanted to buy the manifolds, and that guy is trying to decide if he wants to buy them or not. That is the only information available at this point.

Ya unlikely there would be any guarantees since replacements would come straight out of the pocket of the importer or retailer. Free replacements under a warranty would require the product have a minimum of 200% markup by at least one party in the chain. If people wanted these manifolds for under $1000, something has to give.

That's a good question. Unless it is for something they are yet to give back or own you i would stirred clear of them.

Their number has not changed, still located in the same building and have you tried contacing Sam via email? sam@gtmpower.com? He's better at emails than answering the phone.

Thanks, I'll send another email. Called 3 times in the last 2 weeks with no one picking up, emailed 8 days ago. Week 39 awaiting refund. Did a wire transfer so no financial company to back me up (I learned my lesson). Just hoping to get my cash back so I can move on...

If anyone hears from GTM in the near future please let me know... I'd like to know if I'm being dodged or they're closed.

When I was getting my refund I drove him absolutely nuts until I got my money. I called at least 3 times a day, every day until the money was in my account. Don't let him **** you around. Be very persistent. Sometimes I would call and it would ring for 5 minutes before they answered. Just keep at it man, and don't let up. Good luck!

no offense, but why in the world would you do that? you wire money to family members who say they'll pay you back and even they don't lol. i always pay with credit, if anything happens i call and dispute the charges and get my money back.

I don't know. I do know they haven't gotten their server back up yet and trying to get them by phone is going to be a futile attempt until the phone system is back up. Unless you have sam's number...

Honestly, it was not harsh enough... There have been many times where I have spoken up to help others in the community just to be hit with this kind of disrespect... This is not a bitch session thread... This is a thread for people to discuss their dealings with GTM and to get help...

There is No help to be gotten here with gtm, it's done and over when they took peoples money knowing they were going to file for bankruptcy.. What gets me is they all of the sudden have resources to up and move and also have the ability to have their parts that have failed remanufactured .. Do you really think if sam is able to raise the titanic that he is going to offer to make things right with all that he has wronged??? If so I want what your smoking pal..lol

The second quote you used is out of context of the conversation where I was giving my business opinion on how long it would take for them to get their business back up and running after they had downsized and gotten to a survivable environment. This was all hypothetical and in context makes sense...

I talk to him all the time. Hopefully he will have the stroker ready to ship in less than a month. Yes there have been setbacks.
But make no mistake GTM will make a comeback.
