GT Motorsports: 370Z Supercharger system development

Maybe its just the video but it seems like you can hear the charger much more than you hear the turbos on the twin system. Is this true Sam or

Maybe its just the video but it seems like you can hear the charger much more than you hear the turbos on the twin system. Is this true Sam or is it the video? You would think a twin turbo system would be much more audiable. Looks like you should be able to hit the numbers you want. When you add in exhaust/hfc etc the power will get a little better.
Would low compression pistons help on a application like this????

Just remember there is no air filter on the car right now, so it won't be as loud when the air filters and the bumper are in place. lowering the compression will take away more then helping in a SC application.

Not even with the stage 3 Sam?

If I remember correctly, you had to use 100oct fuel to run 12psi on the Stage II TT kit on Christian's car? So maybe slightly lower compression might help with staying on pump gas?

In a turbo application it is really easy to make up for the lower compression by simply adding boost. on the other hand in a SC application you are going to be limited by how fast you can spin the SC to make up for the lower compression .
