I was the VERY first person to have it installed on my truck....was a decent kit. made 311 rwhp with meth on my tacoma that dynoed 192hp stock. ofcourse the TRD blower made 350rwhp on my truck with an assload more TQ....
The reason for the jump in price was because URD was originally using a different blower and changed it over to the C38 after seeing the limitation of the first choice. The new blower was able to push the additional 100whp... Not sure on the specs on the original kit but I believe the intercooler was changed as well.

Miss my tacoma I had a 08 Double Cab in White with a 6" Fabtech Coilover lift on 35s/20s. Ill post a pic if I hunt one down.

they were using the smaller c32 or c30 i dont remember. the intercooler was the same, but they changed the piping. even so, i dont see how that is a 2k price increase, since the blower is not 2k by itself. ill be honest, i only owned the first, and read about the new one so i cant say exactly. either way, bring on the supercharger gtm!
