We are officially done with the 370Z supercharger kit. We will be installing all the final production parts next week and we will be on the dyno for tuning. Shortly after that, we will start offering our in-house install packages while we are getting these self install kits ready for shipping. The CARB certification process has been initiated and the time frame for completion is up to them. As for the final finished product pictures, they will be produced with the dyno graph and dyno numbers. Let me just say this: The kit looks AMAZING!!! Totally OEM looking.

In the meantime, here's a cool video we released last night:

Just be ready for the first supercharged 370Z in the world by GTM. :happydance:

Do you have any affilliated companies in El Paso or close to there that we will be able to get a kit from and have them install it?

shabarivas 01-15-2010 06:48 PM

Looks like you guys have an AWESOME shop - so can you PM me details on when CARB etc are going to be expected? I am debating between your kit and stillens - let me know :)

bucketman 01-15-2010 06:57 PM

Okay, I have been following this thread for a while now and as your kit nears production I have to ask a couple of questions. When the 350z first came out and supercharger kits were hitting the market, the one that caught my eye was the HKS. It used the Rotrex supercharger, I liked it because it didn't have the high pitched whine like the procharger and the vortech. However the kit didn't stay on the market long as there seemed to be a problem with the rotrex unit, then HKS and rotex had a falling out, end of kit. Sam and Mike, have you heard this before and if so what was the problem and has it been corrected? I look forward to seeing your complete kit, more so than the Stillen, mainly because it appears that you are maintaining the dual throttle bodies in the factory positions. Purely for the symmetry, I think it looks better under the hood.

looks like theres not much yall cant do. Good vid! +1

i'll be honest with you bro, there isnt a tuner shop here thats worth a shyt city wide, however there is a shop in Las Cruces, NM about 45 minutes north that does outstanding work, i'll hook you up with details when you get here.

I don't know what happened between HKS and Rotrex, as I am not privy to that sort of information. However, Rotrex is a well known and respected name in the industry. Their products also carry a 2 year warranty. We are contemplating extending that to 3 years although that is not confirmed yet.

In regards to CARB certification, we do not have any control over that, and therefore, have no idea how long that will take.

Most of the cars we work on are actually from out of state. We work with a professional transport company and we would be happy to work up a quote for you. Shoot me a PM if you're interested and let's see what we can come up with.

We are polishing up the piping and all the pieces. We will be taking pictures early next week and tuning the car on the dyno. All the pics and data will be posted by the middle of next week in true GTM style.

Stay tuned! We'll be setting up appointments for in-house installs very shortly. :D

Buddy Revell 01-18-2010 03:40 PM

Hmmm...I wonder how many pennies I'll need saved up out-the-door for an in-house install?

jmlenz 01-18-2010 05:19 PM

like I said before, '10 is gonna be a good year for the Z. Two S/C kits to choose from and at least 4 TT kits!

KillerBee370 01-18-2010 05:25 PM

In for a SC when they arrive!

JB-370z 01-18-2010 08:46 PM

Where did you get 4 turbo kits from?? There is 3 now, is there word on another company??? I know companies are saying they are but is there offical word yet for another make??? Can't wait to see the numbers on this beast though! GTM+SC+FINAL NUMBERS=HAPPINESS
-Glad to know we only have to wait about two weeks to see final pics and possible numbers. Im sure all the hard work is going to produce some decent numbers.
I will be very sad to see my intakes go though. And there is a big number of us that bought intakes that are prolly going SC, but will be worth it times ten in the long run!

roplusbee 01-18-2010 11:09 PM

I think things are looking good for the 370z and F/I options. I am definitely saving up my pennies for one of these kits. Looks like GTM is trying to corner the market.

jmlenz 01-19-2010 01:57 PM

Correct there are only 3 'official' TT kits in the works or already released (GTM, AAM, Greddy) but HKS announced plans for an '10 TT release bu haven't heard anything since. I'm leaning towards S/C anyways so I'm stoked about the GTM and Stillen options coming. For those not looking for 700whp beasts, I think S/C is the way to go for the 370.

This is on the JWT site under News and Updates.

Sneak peak of the new '07+ VQ HR Twin Turbo System Date:3/16/2009

For those who have been asking how the VQ HR JWT Twin Turbo Systems are progressing, here is a look at the prototype system on a test car. The production kits are scheduled for release in early summer ‘09, starting with the ‘07-‘08 Z. A 370Z version is anticipated for late summer based on demand.

JB-370z 01-19-2010 07:54 PM

I think the HKS is just a setup kit not a full kit. No intercooler, ECU, Intake etc.
I would think they will wait until the summer to release there kit.

so I was hoping that the dyno and pics would be up this week like they were advertised to be but I guess they won't be up till maybe next week. I understand things happen but I'm still a bit sad in the pants.

Sorry if it sounded like we were releasing pics this week, but we are on schedule for what I said last Friday. We're almost done with the polishing and final installation and will be on the dyno early next week. Pics, numbers, and videos will be available after the tuning is complete.
