Does anyone with FI tell their insurance?

I went to the local State Farm and the insurance agent said that everything is cover. You just have to have proof of what is on the car. She said pictures or receipts is all you need to have it covered.

That's good news, I started this thread 1 1/2 years ago and didn't tell them but I have been with State Farm for 15 years.

Copying my question from another thread:

Has anyone with State Farm had to deal with them regarding claims? They seem to be one of the fewer companies that you can add enough coverage to cover a full FI kit, but I'm hesitant to switch to them because I've heard that they are one of the worst companies to deal with in regards to claims.

I answered your question in the other tread. I didn't have any issue at all with them cutting the check as it happened in less than a week.

I had State Farm in the past. They took care of the bumper bender when I had them. It was OEM bumper on a different car though. I don't think I will have a problem with replacement/fix if anything happened to the mods. I literally sat there and reviewed and saw her type in the invoiced from my build into the policy and then typed in that all accessories will be covered if damaged or stolen and then typed in the date and her insurance sellers license (not exact words but you get the idea).

I've been with State Farm for over 40 years (about 20 years for homeowners) and have made several claims (auto and home) over that time - never had a problem.
