S&R Performance single turbo kit?

Just curious but if someone is pushing near 600 WHP what is that at the crank? I don't want to go over 500WHP unless I build the bottom end.

Is anyone in here talking hypotheticals and then requiring numbers a tuner? Didn't think so. The point to finding the sweet spot UNIVERSALLY is getting to the effective compression ratio. safe is 12.0.1 for aluminum heads tuned for 91 pump. I'm running 14.3 on a formula designed for 91 pump. But I'm tuned for 93 which is SAFE on the block. Now, if you want to talk about wear and tear on the other components, I'm all ears but I've already upgraded everything you can think of.

Besides the Fact that I'm upgrading to steel forged in about 2 months I'm not terribly worried about blowing it.

again, It's all in the tune, and no-one has had a problem with their motor since this kit's inception. is 3 years a long enough time? Probably not if you want your car to last for 25... but you have to pay to play... so stop complaining. People wouldn't be in the FI forum if they didn't have the $$$ needed to support their hobby.

There have been people who say that our Z's lose about 17% on the dyno from crank to wheels. so 500 * 1.17 = 585 at the crank. again... ROUGHLY... not an exact formula.

Dude people are not complaining your taking it the wrong way. Guys here look out for each other and those are dangerous numbers without being able to see cylinder pressure. Just don't want to see you stranded with a rod sticking out of your hood lol

That's what I couldn't remember, so ya I'm not going over 500 for my own piece of mind.

No heat soak issues for me. The GTR vents on my seibon cf hood are functioning like a champ. The heat blanket is holding up extremely well here in Florida. No issues whatsoever so far. Loving the kit.

Engine heat stays below half.. I have a 32 block oil cooler so even at full boost for an extended period my oil temps don't go over 215F in 80 degree weather. Off boost they cool down to about 190.

I'll be picking my car up Saturday and driving home to Nashville TN so I'll let you know about my experience. I also will have the 34 row oil cooler on mine.

Nice figures mate, I think it's important for everyone to keep track of the numbers/long term time frame people are running the same numbers to evaluate the stock block HP/TQ numbers.

I'm awaiting my new GTM kit to start pushing it here in Aus, will start with the basic 10-11psi for a few months then onto E85, as it's readily available in my area, there is no problems with me running it, company who will do my install is a "pro-tuner" according to the UpRev website. E85 will come within 1-2 months really. As far as I've seen there is no real limit as far as HP/TQ on the cars from the forums and have been following since 2009, most people are saying safe 500RWHP/400-500TQ but there's not much evidence either for or against this, so will push and see what we can do.
