Ask anyone at the track how well an s2000 does compared to other cars and the answer might surprise you! s2000's are lil monsters on the track I have seen kraftwerks supercharged s2000's @ 400hp eat up everything on the track!!!

The F series Motor is very stout especially when you consider ppl are boosting and still running 8k+ RPM limiters! To say anything Honda makes is a waste is ignorant! I used to hate honda before I owned one and truely understood the capabilities of the s2000! I will bet you cant take your car to lil tally raceway and pull a sub 1:15 in your car. When my s2000 had just coilovers I was running 1:08's for very lil torque it does dam good! Now the 370z is just sick on the track! I was pulling 1:12's on my warmup laps in the monsoon rain! completely stock! But this isnt a thread on Honda or nissan but rather yet the limitations we see of the stock block. Now I am one of the first to be TT in this community and should have my car TT by the first of the year. We are expecting to run 500-550hp daily on the stock block.
Nothing ignorant about my post, If you look at a few posts earlier, I stated that I owned one, and did for 3 years, and was supercharged via Science of Speed. Made 320whp, but 220ft/lbs, the F22 does not make tq, plain and simple, and this is very important when accelerating through a turn. And yes, I realize its a good track car, but as stated earlier, this is because of its light weight and suspension, not the power, and they fail epicly at tracks with long straightaways. At Willow Springs recently, the stock 370 routinely posted better lap times than boosted S2k's, which is something to say. I will post the link when I get home from work. And while I agree that they are wolves in sheeps clothing at the track, If I had to go back and build a small agile car, I'd go with a Miata, and drop an LS1/LS2 in it.
