im confused on the first picture :(

Sorry used the phone for them, the first pic is of the passenger side tb I used a t tap on the green wire to pick up throttle position voltage the reason for using a t tap wS so that it can be unplugged from the window switch and plugged directly to the TPS sensor on the zex nmu. You will need this for both initial programming and in the case of dead or disconnected battery

Hey OP, I have the same Intake Setup as yourself, Where did you drill or "Tap" in for the our Dual Nozzles??? I was thinking right after our MAF sensors???? Thanks and can't wait to see vids unless I beat ya to it hahahaha Kuudos!

Do you ever come to tampa man? you are near me! would be nice to see it in person

LNATKFRNG 02-27-2014 06:19 PM

Mega- zex recommends 6-10 inches from the tb mine are on the bottom of the silicone tubes at about 8 inches I used the same type of pipe reducer to adapt them as most systems use but I used a nut with nylon insert on the inside of the tube and thread locker when u get it tight the profile of both the in/outside part of the reducer is minimal

RW- yes it is a wet kit, wouldn't spray dry on a motor that's expensive.
I do get down to Tampa once in a while next time I do I'll pm it's always good to get to see some other z fans

Mind taking pics of this for me??

btw, how do you program the spray setting at certain RPMS (on & shutoff)

btw thanks for all the info so far- rep

Appreciate the Input OP, That's what was bugging me and didn't want to change intake setup hahaha

Here is the best pic I could get with them on

RW- what type of rpm window switch do you have? The zex switch was pretty easy to set up just two buttons to toggle thru I downloaded the instructions from their site

do you mind backing the camera up? im trying to get a general idea as to were you placed the nozzle :(

If you have the z1 tubes like I have measure 2" from the "z1" toward the throttle body.

RyanWest 03-01-2014 05:24 PM

k sounds good :)

I was under the assumption you want the nozzles close to the throttle bodies. can anyone chime in on this?

LNATKFRNG 03-01-2014 05:30 PM

Nope you do want some distance from the tb's but too far and you increase the chance of your mixture "puddling". The zex recommendation was 6-10 inches from the tb I don't think I would go further away than the z1 logo

Is there a dyno on this yet? I want a 100 or 150 shot. What's best route/setup for a 370z?

Try a 50 - 75 shot first. It might surprise you.
