I don't have dyno numbers but as my dad used to put it " it pulls like a raped ape"

I can't seem to post everything from my phone but the info is:
Zex nmu, zex window switch, zex purge, picked most of it all up on eBay some used and some new I have about 750 in it all so not bad for a 75 shot. Take a look at the pice in my album I tried to keep it clean and hidden, let me know what you think! Thanks for checking it out!

Very nice, are you using a window switch and bottle heater as well? I used to run a 125 shot (wet) in my 350Z back in 04. Zex kit as well. I had it set to spray between 3,000-6,000RPM at 90%+ throttle.

Don't spray for more than 15 seconds continuous your cylinder temps will get super hot, I stretched my rods to the point were they tapped the heads playing with a 911 turbo :)

Have fun!

Thanks! Yes window switch is set 3500-7100, with 1st gear skipped, on an at when u hit second ur still at around 6000rpm, and 3rd is 5500 plus so with running a 1/4 mile I haven't sprayed into fourth gear.

Nice set up. Post up more pics!

That is good, Only thing I would recommend is to lower the window switch to around 6500 RPM, if you are shutting it down at 7100 the momentum can still carry the engine speeds past 7,100 if you are still WOT.

Just a safety precaution so you can enjoy the bottle for a long time :) Once you get tired of filling it up all the time you will eventually go turbo like I did, at one point I would have 3-4 bottles in my garage ready to go, started getting too expensive lol

Good job

Nice and welcome to the Nitrous Club;)

I think I'm the longest running tenured Z here on Nitrous with zero issues except a bad NMU at one point. Good luck, be careful and you will need other things when you go up in shot. I'd like to see more pics of where you tapped your nozzles to if your only using mad tubes.

It does get expensive to run nitrous. Especially out here on the island. I have bigger plans though for the future. Cheers:tiphat:

G- thanks I'll lower the rev ASAP, great advice!
Jc- thank you I tried to keep it all hidden so if you look at the bottom of the tubes you will see the nozzles, I painted them black so the didn't stand out, check the album on my profile please it's great to get input from the guys who have been there done that, this form is great

Curious to know what this car does in the 1/4 with a 75 shot...

Any other upgrades done? colder plugs, etc?

im waiting for someone to nitrous with a meth injection system, maybe with a bit of nitro mixed in to really test all the "you'll blow your motor" myths out.

something like a snow performance kit with this in the tank

also what do you guys use for the fuel tap? i was thinking of using one of the gtm fuel pressure sensor blocks if i do it.

No problem, if you don't abuse it, you will have a reliable setup that lasts a long time.

500rwhp is 500rwhp regardless if its via nitrous, supercharger, or turbo charger. The only difference is that the torque will hit much harder and will increase stress.

If people are making 500rwhp reliably you can do the same with a proper nitrous setup, just will cost more in the long run and you can run out of boost ;)

I said myths didn't I? well the nitro blowing your motor isn't a myth but that all depends on percentage, 20% in a meth bottle and then shutting the injection off and letting the engine run the nitro out after the run should prevent it. Watching top fuel guys rip plugs out of an engine frantically flushing it to keep it from going boom is great. If only the nhra had the stones to allow hydrazine lol
