Just to follow up on the hood, it has helped with oil temps a bunch. This morning it was cool here for Florida (in the 60s) and I got on the interstate with the oil temp at 180 where it normally is and drove 30-40 min when I got off the interstate the oil was around 165. I have never seen the oil temp drop while driving 80 mph before today. You can also see the heat coming out of the vents at a stop light, it looks like heat coming off a hot road in the middle of summer.
Hopefully the Aquamist meth injection system will be one the car next week and I will be done worrying about heat. Fingers crossed! Last edited by JWillis72; 02-14-2014 at 01:35 PM. |
