Default meth kit?

Hey all im new here. I'm in the process of selling my 2007 Cobalt SS Supercharged that has pretty much every part u can get for performance on stock motor. So im trading it in for the 370z. Got a good deal from the dealership, got them to take off $11,000 off the total price of the car, K&N dual intake for $500 and they r giving me $15,000 for my cobalt. I'm keeping the chromed rad hose i put in and putting it on the 370z. I'm also thinking about keeping my devils own meth kit. I tried search but since the 370z is still quite new i found little to no info. If i installed and tuned a meth kit to it. What do u think my gains will be, if any? It gave me alot of extra power/cooling on my cobalt...i had a aftermarket supercharger. But since the 370z doesnt have a super/turbo charger what will it do with just CAI? I plan on twin turboing it once i go and get back from afghanistan in 2011, so i know it will help then but what about now.

Unless you are going with forced induction, a meth kit won't buy you much on a stock motor. You'll see a small gain since it does essentially raise the octane level by cooling the fuel when it burns but it comes into play a lot more when you're raising boost in a turbo engine/supercharged where the car will begin to lean out. On a stock car...personally I wouldn't bother.

Good luck!

That would be the best option...one less thing to buy once you go TT.
