500WHP on Stillen wont happen :/, I tired a few others tried, Closest we got was 473WHP , not me I was only 457WHP. @12SPI and all suppoting mods,

You should get to 500whp if you run 100 octane, upgrade impeller and pulley and push 11 to 12psi with bigger injectors and fuel pump.

The limiting factor will be the cooling of the system at that level of HP. Every boosted car has to deal with this though.

????
I'll pick 1 of them n say wrong. Limiting factor would be the 100 octane. That's not readily available at any pump. 100 octane for barely making 500hp??? :icon14:

We've said this many time to those who are new to forced induction on a normally aspirated motor, which is do lots of reading around here and researching.

It's easy to desire more power and buy stuff on impulse hoping to make this much power, but there's more to buying stuff and bolting it on.

Please start by reading the sticky threads:
http://www.the370z.com/forced-induct...ion-noobs.html
http://www.the370z.com/forced-induct...ion-noobs.html

The finished builds give you an idea of what kit was used, and the power made after tuning:
http://www.the370z.com/forced-induct...ed-builds.html

This should give you a ballpark.

No way would you see 40-50 WHP just from 100OCT, I had bigger injectors ,pump, heat exchanger ,Impeller and was at 12PSI 457WHP 93OCT, 500WHP will take 14PSI or higher and then your in built motor territory for sure.
Trust me man I was down this road..

I never said that it was practical. There is one station about 20 miles from me that has 100 octane for $7/gal ouch.

Definitely not Stillen if you know you want room to grow and no emission concerns.

ANQVM, why didn't u tune at 100 octane? I think you could get 40whp from it. How did the guy from Switzerland get to 500? I think he is running high octane or has a friendly Dyno.

What's disappointing about the Stillen kit is the torque # great on slowing down transmission wear and tires.

Dynapack, they read stupid high.
And I believe he is going of HP, not WHP.

Hey Guys

That is correct

We produce here in Switzerland with 100 octane, 500 HP (not WHP)
with 8,7 --> 9 PSI boost

200 HP more than stock

Greetings
Ivo

....at the crank....translates to approximately 390 to 410 whp

I believe MrSqueeze had a Stillen kit and was close to the numbers you are looking for, but in the end I recall it didn't turn out too well. I have a GTM Stage 1.5 kit on my HR G35 that will fit on a 370z or G37 with very little modification I will be selling it soon to make room for a GTM MHI TT kit. PM me for details if interested.

I went through Swiss's journal and he is getting a delta of 200 HP, no matter if it's dynapack or mustang dyno it's still +200 HP.

So if you dyno 280whp on a dynojet stock, then in theory you would be at 480whp.

Correct me if I'm wrong but his setup is 10 PSI pulley, impeller upgrade and 100 octane.

OK, so maybe 500 whp is not doable.

He made 473WHP. Great guy BTW, Help me a lot with mine. He had the pulley upgrade, But ran out of MAF's up top. I had UPREV MAF's and the Impeller upgrade with injectors,dw300 pump and made a little less,But every dyno is different and I have a AWD and Auto.

Stillen FTW! lol I would be happy with 480whp...for at least a few months. We will see...

G37sHKS 09-13-2013 09:55 AM

In middle east you say huh?

I can help if you were serious, PM for further discussing.

On side note: your goal can be achieved easily with GTM stage 1.5/2
