Do you have to buy a “service TCM” 2010 compatible from Nissan and have it flashed with the latest software revision, or will a used TCM from a salvage 2010 trans part number be able to be reflashed at the dealer? I am surprised they were willing to update a VQ TCM in a VR transmission. My dealer said it’s all modified now, and didn’t act like they wanted to update my TCU which is still on the original 2010 flash program.
