This is just disgusting! Down right Dirty! I officially hate you now Tony

J/K. You are making me re-work my budget to incorporate this monstrosity somehow. Either that or sell my NISMO and get a G37 IPL (Maybe I can fit the carseat in the back.........sorta) and let you work your magic on it.

Yea I was slightly disappointed on how bad they were holding the power. Danny said they werent even holding 4th. I would recommend at least trying a thicker sidewall as he (danny) doesnt think the compound is the problem which I agree with.

Drag radials and done! Wider is always not better. There are many opinions on using a wider tire will help traction however it can make matters worse. There is less pressure per square inch on the contact patch of the tire.
Blake, you'll want to look into some Mickey Thompson DRs or even the Nitto NT05Rs for the street.

Thank you Seb! I guess the reviews I read from a few of the other boosted guys werent so spot on. Will definitely go with something different on the next set. I appreciate the help and great driving yesterday! Hope to see you back on the dyno soon

Seb,

You are correct my friend. Back on my TT mustang I was having a hard time to consistently cut 1.4 60's and 9.20 was my best in the 1/4 mile. I had a Mickey Thompson 28x10.5W. That tire is about 11.5-12" wide. I stepped down to the 28x10.5" (No W) now about 10.5" wide. I did nothing else and I was able to put the car consistently into the 1.3's and run 9.0...

Since you have chimed in here I want to publicly thank you for all of the help throughout this journey. Without you and SpecialtyZ this we would not be at the stage we are at. We really look forward to the next few weeks and years to come. Once we get the fuel pressure drop off issues settled we can turn up the boost and see what she can really make.

Thanks, Tony

Little Update,

Facebook is currently updated with videos and times from yesterday. If you like us from my signature below, you can view it all.

That being said, I am currently working on getting things updated here in the thread. I will do that on the first page with a Q&A along with the newest post here.

Stay tuned...

Thanks, Tony

Awesome results, congrats to FI and the owner. I told myself I was gonna leave my Z a bolt on car, this is making me reconsider. Great job guys!
