The issue is intermittent. We are going to check the turbo drain lines and the PCV valve when I am back at SpecialtyZ in a few weeks. Also adding cats back into the exhaust. Otherwise, everything is great.

Lookin' good Nix! I need to hit you up for a ride one of these days although it may have drastic consequences for my wallet as I will want to TT my Z that much more afterward.

What part of SD are you in?

Just a quick update. Was finally able to really battle test the new CSF setup. 80-90 MPH through the desert yesterday with 101-102 indicated. Had AC on the whole way and the car didn't break a sweat. Even going up the mountains between San Diego and Phoenix, I never saw higher than about 215. Very pleased with performance after we got the few kinks worked out. Oil temp sensor on far right in the gauge cluster.

Well convoy tested at least, if you want battle test hit up big willow on a 110 degree day in summer, That will really test your cooling system when you are accelerating and decelerating and spending a lot of the time at speed for half an hour. That is if your tires and brakes don't give up first.

My OEM rad was fine going up the I-15 into the high desert at 30mph in 100+ degree heat, damn cajon crawl.

This is a good point. Battle tested may be the wrong way to put it. But this is far better performance than I had OEM, and I have a big IC in front of the radiator now.

does your Z have a TT kit?

1slow370 10-23-2014 02:44 AM

no but cruising there isn't much difference, if he was working the car the problems would start showing up because thats when the turbo cars start really pumping out heat. the bugatti makes like 850whp and it has 4 radiators
