No typical drama here pal, just was stating that I had heard issues with the "valve body upgrade", not the full trans. And that's what was told to me and I was asking for folks that had put the GTM valve body upgrade in, not that I was saying it was fact that it was bad..lol Hence the reason I was "asking" and not "stating" that as a factoid, my original post was a "question". So please refrain from "creating" that drama with such a post..

Good to know Z eliminator, I am referring to just the VBU and not the whole trans, but good to know the built trans are good, ai was looking at those but not pushing enough for the whole trans though was checking out the VBU

Just asking for "user" experience from those that have applied the GTM VBU as I would like to hear from actual people that have applied it, reason for my post., I don't take anything on the "I heard" scenario which is why I ask at all.

I'm glad you are asking this question and I have no problem with it whatsoever. After all, this is the whole purpose of the technical forum. On that note, it will be useful to us and to all members to share the concerns you heard about. This way, we can address them. It just does not make sense to bring up such a point and not follow through with more details.

So let me simplify my question so we can be on the same page. Please share the concern to qualify that the valve body upgrade we offer is problematic.

The reason why I'm prying on this is because I think you owe it to the forum members on here to let them know what you know.

Lol nicely worded! You would make for a great politician!

Lookin forward to the response, most likely we won't get one.
His question was ok until he sneaked in that "I heard from tuner". Perfect set-up for failure.

ANMVQ, out of curiousity was he the same guy that told u to go with the Stillen kit? We all know how that turned out lol! That was easy I had to lol!

One can pretty much say for any product out there that they had heard that someone else heard that there was a problem with said product. It just seems like trolling unless since it does nothing for anyone.

I couldn't agree with you more, but I was just trying to give 3zworld the benefit of the doubt and I didn't really question AMNVQ since he doesn't have any credibility here and just makes stuff up as he goes.

So, instead of actually letting some folks that have the VBU answer you guys do nothing but state that some may be trolling, whatever the f$& that is. I asked a question, plain and simple and if you don't know then please let others post their experience with it. I would like to know before dumping the cost of such and not "finding out the hard way". Nismo2011, enough with your accusations, they are not warranted or asked for, and since you obviously don't have the GTM VBU either then please digress, as your just being a forum bully.

Sam@GTM: I'm not saying it is bad, when a well known shop tells me that they have heard some bad things about it I said ok. I will indeed ask the tuner the details of such as he didn't go into very much at the time (time is $$) with these guys, but will push him for more and post, that much does need to be added I agree, sorry I didn't have that to contribute beforehand but thought I would see if anyone had heard of such.

I don't have time to act childish or go about talking about this like kindergarten, trying to get real answers is all, didn't know this forum had become a place for forum bully's to troll (not you Sam)

And about the Stillen Kit, I'm getting a happy 445 whp without the Motorsport impeller and pulley upgrade, so it's doing nicely thank you.

Lol, still not coming out with it eh? Jus another lame vague post to still not say tuner but u wanna add that it's a well known shop?? You speak of growing up when you have a lot to do. ANMVQ has NO experience with the VBU, so why didnt u say anything towards him? Is it cuz his troll post favors ur troll response. You should research. Lot of people have it, and some of them have already answered here in this thread and said YES it works, not some vague answer like you.

You'd make a great politician as well. You want a direct answer with someone but can't seem to give one when called out on "this made up shop". Lol good luck, I'm sure the response you get will be exactly what u give others.

And what would you like to know about the GTM Torque converter ?
Ive had one dor almost 2 years now.
it dropped my 60 ft times to 1.85. Very streetable and drives like the stock unit.
I now have a Pro torque with a 3400 stall . 1.80 60 ft times , ok for driving but not the grearist for every day driving.
As for the shifting. My stock tranney shift like a terror with the 4.08 gears. and i run the 1/4 mile in 12.342 seconds all moter. No mods at all to the VB.
I now have the GTM built stage 4 and let me tell you the differnce is night and day.
I have not put the GTM flash into it yet,
Im doing that tonight and Sam told me that it will be way faster shifting when the VB is flashed.
Im sure that my car will run 12.19 with this upgrade and all i have is 304 RWHP.
Sam has been working with me and helps me a lot. He has endless paitiance with me as my computer skill are not that great and he took the time to the other night at 9.00 pm to help me with the uprev set on my PC. for 45 min on the phone.
He had never sent me bad advise as alway helps me when i screw up installing things on my car.
