HELP Broke DOWN!!
Well guys cars is out My battery died last night jumped the car this morning didnt run right, Heisatated a times pretty bad, Drove it to work very easy, Drove it home , car bucked spitted back fired, Pretty much crapped all over itself at any RPM over 3k, Babied it 1.5 miles home got worse, Pretty much any gas = crap on it self almost stalled twice, And no has a hard time starting, Long cranking time, and stumbles.. Any ideas. I even tried changing maps, Did nothing,

Nothing is loose either checked the intake tube on the SC and car will not build any boost, Will spit and back fire?

Now I am not an expert by no means, so take everything I say with a grain of salt. If it is spitting and backfiring it makes me think that there is an AFR problem. So the first place I would look is to make sure that there are no leaks anywhere. I know you just said that you checked and everything was tight. All I can think of is an air leak, bad maf sensor or something along those lines...

i might be wrong but some cars once u jump it or bat is unplugged willl reset the tune and since u have a custom uprev tune it might have just flashed back to stock

If it just started all of a sudden then I would suspect cam timing sensor and/or fuel. You still on the stock fuel pump I presume? No CEL?

check your spark plugs

Most don't loss there tune just because the battery is out there is a small battery in most cars to keep the ecu
If it is the tune then that small battery my be the cause if it's bad |

Hey Coop thanx, The Valet mose I have set is the car will hit fuel cut at 30 MPH, The will run fine till I get to 30 MPH and the cut kicks in, So the Valet mode works. More info on driving I would notice I could be at 5k RPM and would hit no boost, Gauge would read -20? The first think that got my attention was I was merging on to the street in front of my house I stepped on it , It would ramp up and then the car would jerk( Almost like fuel cut) and boost would fall off to below 0?, I can not build any boost, Even if I step 1 tenth of the throttle and vert slowly ramp up the RPM's in first, Will get a small jerk at 1200-1400 and the at 2800-3200 the car will just burble and pop, and jerk, Know what I should take a small vid, It will do it in park,, Going to take on know.

But if I get on throttle even a little it will ramp up an fall on its face, Lurch forward( Like fuel cut) also was a very LONG crank time to start up. 5-6 seconds, An was stumbling a lot till it go warm..

Hey man! You need to stop messing with it and bring it to the pros. Let's say if your blower is out your car can have symptoms like you're describing. The ecu does not know your blower is out and will keep dumping fuel and without the air from it of course it's going to take a crap! That happened to me when I first got my kit, the blower was bad and can only build 3-5psi of boost, but one thing my car did was it threw me into limp mode.
Really suggest you to take it back to your tuner and hope its not the blower. That's expensive! |
Could have fried the ECU, by jumping it.

If you have a check engine light then I will bet it's your intake timing control soleniod valve. It controls the timing and oil flow. It should also be in bank 2...the driver side. My guess is it is stuck wide open. I know this because my was just doing the same thing.
Also does it start the blurpping around 2.5k to 3k? If it is doing this then you will need to change your oil and filter also remove the soleniod( really easy to do) and you'll notice it's stuck open. Simply push on the end and you will hear a pop. Problem fixed. Clean it and install. The car will run just like it did before all the issues. Also don't forget to pull the negative side of the battery to reset the ECU. |
OK I am not messing anymore LOL, Just wanted to get some vids for you guys, I have been driving the wifes car, The thing about the SC is something my tuner said also after looking at the vids I sent him. I also looked around some more this morning and found SC fluid all over the back of the SC and engine bay, Drivers side, The fluid was a milky colored, So car is off the the dealer tomorrow AM, Costly better not be, Been on the car for 5 months, Warrenty..
TOWER, It starts blurping at 1800 at clears up and starts again at 2800 or so, The throttle pulls it self back also, |

If the blower is still under warranty ,then its just a matter of sending it back for a re-build. I had this happen to me on a brand new blower from Vortech on my 350z took them about a month to get it back to me. Once I knew my blower was bad I took the cog belt off the back and drove aroun N/A till I took it off.The car will drive normal that way. |
Looks like I hit the jackpot on this one.
STILLEN will not give you a warranty for your blower due to a custom tune. |

Honestly I would LOVE to see Stillen reject me on this. For one we all know the issue I have had with them, An the tune thing is rediclous( Just IMO) not like they sent me a 9PSI tune and I changed it to 11 PSI, Still running their 9PSI pulley they sent me,\\
But things have been better with them I have been talking to a customer service manager there and he has been good so far, So we'll see, |

Thanx guys, We'll see what happens car was on Flat bed going to the dealer as I left for work, Gotta love roadside ASST, Took only 25 mins for them to come and pick up the car.
Called the dealer talk to the service manager( Guy I dealer with all the time). An let him know it was on the way, should have some info today. |
Ok, So I/we will not know anything till sometime on Wendsday, Dealer called me a little while ago to tell me the car arrived ok but the tech that works on my car is out till then on Vaca. , I will be going to get a loaner in the next day or two.

Well talked to Stillen just know, Was looking into something eles with them. An talked to them about the issue, He told me sounds like the seal went. Warrenty will cover it.. First thing he asked was "When did you change change the Fluid".. Glad I'm anal about those things, Is said Change it 2500 for the first change and them 7500 after that , Only changed it once The 2500 miles service( March) this year. So I am good,.
