If you have a check engine light then I will bet it's your intake timing control soleniod valve. It controls the timing and oil flow. It should also be in bank 2...the driver side. My guess is it is stuck wide open. I know this because my was just doing the same thing.
Also does it start the blurpping around 2.5k to 3k? If it is doing this then you will need to change your oil and filter also remove the soleniod( really easy to do) and you'll notice it's stuck open. Simply push on the end and you will hear a pop. Problem fixed. Clean it and install. The car will run just like it did before all the issues. Also don't forget to pull the negative side of the battery to reset the ECU.
