come on pat! if you use N2O with all of the saftey equipment and its installed correct and the tune in good you will have to only worry about the bottle being filled :) Thats why I put it on my 350Z before I parted it out.

Update
Okay so yesterday I borrowed another zex box from a friend while mine is being shipped to zex for repair or replacement. As soon as we hooked the brain box up everything worked just fine. Did a few passes on the nitrous tune I have and data logged it to be sent out today. So last night I decided to test it out against a friends car and I have my window switch set at 3200-7300. It did not hit until after 4500. I don't know why, I even set it lower and it was still waiting till 4500 to hit. Now we are wondering if it is a voltage issue with the window switch. |
Please post ASAP when you figure out what the problem is. My kit will be.done at the end on the week. I will fill you in on any issues I have with my install. Good luck I hope everything get worked out for ya.

Hey guys does the 350z HR ZEX kit work for our 370's?
Anyone have a parts list built up? Im just curious everything required for the build. Like does the 350z ZEX kit from ZEX include the extra pieces purchased in this build ( blowdown tube windowswitch etc.) Could someone link everything required? Thanks! |

Ya it has something to do with the window switch and voltage I am sure of it.
Nitex You can give Zex a call for the actual part number or look it up online. I suggest piece your kit together b/c it can get expensive depending on what you want to do. As you can see on the first page I posted everything that I got from where and how much it was. valpozguy how is your build going? you taking pictures? starting a thread? |

The build starting off slow. It building momentum now. I will start my thread in a few days. Hopefully I can help out with some of these problems.

Guys running nitrous. I get my new box today and after talking to zex they said i should tap into somewhere else instead of the tpms. Did any body tap the box in a different location for consistent voltage?

Okay guys my zex box finally came back in and we hooked it up no problem. 1st run we data logged no problem, then the 2nd one and all off a sudden I started miss firing like crazy after some back fire. We barely made it back to my buddies house and pulled the spark plugs and this is what we found. We won't know till Saturday when I put the new plugs in if there was anything else damaged.

So you did not install 1 step colder plugs ? Also what size shot did u spray ???

Every time I think I may go this way, something like this pops up and sets me back. Sh!t what the......I really hope nothing else happened, but from the look of those plugs :shakes head:

Motor is ******. Started it up, and it throws the code for multiple misfire. Just pulled one of the plugs out and it started to get a coating of oil on it.

Get a scope and look down through the spark plug holes and see if you can find a crack/etc especially in the ones that have oil on the plugs.
