If we really gave a rat's *** about doing ethanol right, we'd take a page from Brazil's playbook and use the leftover parts of sugar cane. But that would require lifting some of the protectionist bs that domestic sugar producers enjoy.

Using corn for fuel is just an end around to reward lobbyists and corporations for campaign donations.

And since I'm a huge hypocrite, I'd happily use it if there were stations around me.
