On a side note, the original, very first twin scroll I built a couple of months back was on the dyno the other day:

This is a stock block VQ35DE, 9psi, stock intake manifold, no spacer single 3" exhaust, borla headers, Haltech ID1000 injectors.

For those that wish to get DJ comparable numbers, add 10%. Torque was kept a bit lower due to the weak stock rods.

So were looking at around 465ish at 9 lbs. of boost. What kind of dyno was that on?

Looking great Sasha. What scissor lift are you using? I'm in the market for one, how do you like yours?

No, this is the twin scroll built for the 350z that I did as a prelude to the 370z twin scroll build.

The 370z will be looking at more than that due to added displacement.

The intent of that post was to show that this design works, and works rather well on the V6.

:bowrofl: I bet it does.

I would really like to get a few hundred miles on this kit/car before I start making the jigs, and going in to production.

The last thing I would want is to have something I may have over looked causing a problem. At that point I would have grumpy customers, and that is not how I have developed a great reputation over the past few years. There is a process to this, and it is in place to ensure all my customers get the best product possible.

I will be more than happy to take your money, just not yet. A transaction like that has to be pleasant for all involved.

So after all this is done will you personally be making the piping for each kit?

Correct, I build everything....I can't trust some monkey with this stuff. Each kit will have my fingerprints all over it. I do it all....

Dzel 05-02-2012 09:01 AM

:leghump: I call dibs on first kit!!! :rofl2:

Neo187H 05-02-2012 09:16 AM

I may have missed it in the 30 pages of thread but has a estimated price point been mentioned? This kit is the first to come along that actually makes me question my Stillen setup.

Edit: Nevermind, found it mentioned. So to change my question a bit, would it be possible to order this as a "tuner" kit? As in no injectors, pump or UpRev software for those that want to source there own?

I am in on this too... I can also wait as I am in no rush. Would also serve as a great project before 2013 summer hits.

Dzel 05-02-2012 11:53 AM

I would suggest paying half to get the project going and the other half upon completion/delivery. Or would you want payment in full?

Cell 05-02-2012 11:56 AM

I think I might even be the first nismo owner to try this out.

Dzel 05-02-2012 11:59 AM

Yeah I have the Sport

zguynate 05-02-2012 11:59 AM

He will probably have trouble keeping up with demand at first lol. There are a lot of people wanting this kit and only one man making them. I dont see a group buy right off the bat.

A group buy means a large chunk of money will be going into his pocket.

Honestly though, I think most of the buyers are willing to wait the extra time it takes to get it done as long as it is done right. I know I am.

erkthejerk73 05-02-2012 12:03 PM

hey BP,

When i take the car down to Hal's after it is tuned would you be interested in the file?

Boosted Performance 05-02-2012 12:06 PM

You guys are too funny...The plan here is to get the jigs built after I get all the 350z kits out the door (have 3 to complete as soon as this 370z is done and 2 guys wanting to put deposit down).

Once that is out of the way I will focus on the 370z jigs, and building the kits later this year. Good thing we have long winters here.

:iagree: I am in no rush, all the work Sasha put into this alone makes it worth the wait.

Sweet, I think I will post my spot up for auction in the forum! .... :stirthepot: :icon17:
