It can happen. Best way to clean it ou is drain as much as possible then wash with gasoline. This is also good practice if you have valve cover recirc

It can happen. Best way to clean it ou is drain as much as possible then wash with gasoline. This is also good practice if you have valve cover recirc fittings going to the turbo inlet. It will wash away any oil that will be trapped up in the intercooler. I would do this as a yearly thing on my old Eclipse Spyder.
