I'm not knocking your app, I'm just concerned that it may not be giving you and us an accurate picture of what's going on. Is 10.4 on the safe side, yes, but it shouldn't make your bumper black either. Do you know if you got a 91 octane tune from Sam or a 93 octane tune from him? |

I only run 93 octane . I shall see what happens tommorrow. I figured the app pulls the data straight from ecu pids so it is showing me what ecu sees. I hate having gauges in the car but I will look into what options I have for standalone widebands. Thanks Mike! |

Yeah, ok, that makes sense...I know Sam is pretty conservative on his tunes, but 10.4 seemed a bit much...even when reading off the factory widebands. Tomorrow when you go see your tuner, try to get a dyno graph with AFR readout. Then, compare those numbers to the numbers you're getting from your logger to get an idea of the offset between your data and the dyno's wideband...at least until you get a standalone AFR gauge...if you're concerned about it. Also, since you are running 93 octane, you can actually run a little leaner than you would on 91. |
