what was the outcome?
is the R35 part number identical to the MAP sensor used in the 370z? if so, then the readings will be identical. If they are different, then i'd say the readings would be different due to sensor scaling. from memory, the MAP sensor used in the R35 and Z34 are identical. You will also find that the MAP-T sensor used in the MR16 turbo engine has identical MAP scaling. That's the key component in the Gotboost plug and play speed density kit for R35. When i was considering options for relocating the IAT sensor (hence my interest in the MAP-T sensor, to get air temp readings as close to the cylinders as possible), it was the prime candidate. Cost is what canned that idea. Second reason was the potential for heatsoak, which is what i was trying to reduce. |
