RON - What brand Carbon Fiber door inserts do you have?

Ron 04-12-2012 01:19 PM

Contact Tony at Carbon Fiber Element, bought them from him.

Ron 04-12-2012 07:51 PM

Should be ready tomorrow guys. Pretty much the only thing left to install is the fuel pump.

Mike@GTM 04-12-2012 08:03 PM

Oooo....looking good man! Almost there!

Bleazi 04-12-2012 08:08 PM

Looks sweet man.

Ron 04-12-2012 08:14 PM

Thanks guys. Super excited, can't wait to fire it up.

Robert_K 04-12-2012 09:43 PM

Jason's attention to detail is great. Notice how he made sure all the GTM couplers were facing the same direction and lined up correctly.

Dzel 04-12-2012 09:50 PM

It's little things like that that make the install worth the money! Looking good

esfourteen 04-12-2012 09:58 PM

Awesome Ron, everything looks great! I like how you moved the BOV's into the engine bay too, I am kind of bummed that isn't the default location. I won't be able to finish mine for another week or so due to a business trip, I am totally jealous :icon17:

I'm a fair guy and give credit where it's due.

Boost_lee 04-12-2012 11:12 PM

theDreamer 04-13-2012 10:07 AM

Looking good, I am surprised with all the coating you did on the exhaust side you did not get the black piping which Sam offers to help with cooling.

Ron 04-13-2012 10:10 AM

One word. Bling! Haha

Ron 04-13-2012 10:11 AM

Or maybe "broke". Yeah I that's it.

blackbird 04-13-2012 04:13 PM

one item re grinding and faulty transmissions. Have over 30K miles. have had GTN TT stage II since october/November 2010. Stock clutch until june 2011 now have Geiken. Have had no grinding issues at all. Double clutching or speed shifting (half hearted depression of clutch) everything slips in fine. No issues. I did blow the rear axle with a Quaife LSD but the clutch was fine.

Ron 04-13-2012 08:22 PM

roplusbee 04-13-2012 09:58 PM

You know that you can fire it up and bleed the cooling system, power steering and check for leaks without Sam's tune.

Ron 04-17-2012 07:23 PM

Yeap, that is done. Jason's got the tune now anyway, picking it up thursday morning for tuning :F

O&G 04-17-2012 07:59 PM
