Shumby vs Z Eliminator
Sam at GTM would be very disapionted with your car after i kicked your ____ at the drag strip. You have no idea how fast my car is. It has every N/A mod on it and its very light ( 3352 lbs with me in it. and its has skinney tire and 305 35 18 drag tire, with a gtm converter in it . racingbrake 2 piece lighted brake roter's and I can drive it like i stole it in the 1/4 mile. Your G weights a ton more than mine. all you have on me is may be 65 rwhp, Would not be much of a race as im looking at 12.3's soon. Sam would be very dissapionted with you. Z eliminator

BUT MY WIFE IS HOTTER!
LOL ya z elim I know you would take me. But if it was not for me Sam would not have a trans to be workign on right now for us. So PLZ everyone send me $5 via pay pal. It will be interesting to see what the price tag on the trans upgrade will be.

One thing I learned a long time ago, no matter how fast you think you are, there's always someone faster.

There is a faster N/A car than mine Jnauts car runs 12.24 on street tires . His a 6 MT.
About the tranny Mine shifts in .3 to .34 of a second in the 1st 4 gears. I data loged it going down the track. The shift to 5th takes .61. If your wife drove the car in the 1/ 4 mile i would let her win. Z

Any updates on this? Quite interested to see how the kit fares. Also, with Stg 2 kit, would we need to "build" the engine? Might not be the more practical choice, seeing that most of us are going with an S/C kit as a "plug in and forget it" kit for a DD.
On a separate note, apart from the turn-key kit, oil cooler, A/T trans cooler and upgrade, what else would you need to have the Stg 1 kit installed on a BONE STOCK 2010 370Z (80% DD, 20% Circuit Track)? I heard that stock exhaust and cats are actually good for the hp, Sam mentioned that it has something to do with some back pressure and it's good for S/C. What about gauges? Are they even required? |

I posted this elsewhere but it's appilcable to all IMO.
When any shop no matter who it is releases a kit for a certain price $X yet there are mandatory upgrades required costing $Y which are not inlcuded within the kit, it almost seems to me to be either false or misleading advertising in order to claim a low price on their kit. Granted there are experienced people out there who would prefer to source their own upgrades. But for the average "Joe", why not just be up front and honest about the whole thing and provide an all encompassing price of $Z ($X + $Y)? Again this is directed at all suppliers. |

You can always go back to a time when you pieced an entire kit yourself, intercooler, turbos, custom piping, etc.
