Clutch based differentials are going to be slightly noisier, you get a small clunk as the clutch plates come together. It's not that bad, not obnoxious to any extent.

The 1.5 and the 2 way lock the same under acceleration, the difference between the two is under deceleration. The 2-way will lock up under deceleration where as the 1.5 way only has partial lock under deceleration.
