Bottom line......since you dont even have a TT please keep your INCORRECT opinion to yourself!

P.S. Wow......you are stupid!
LOL LOL somebody is getting a warning do da do da lol. Chris info is the truth lol. You are making your assumption off of only 2000 miles? I told you before your day is coming. Shumby had 2000 miles on his car with the SC 24 hours after installing it. No one said that if you install the kit the next day you are going to have a blown tranny. The truth is the tranny can't handle it for long periods of time. Go read sams post about it and you will see. If you are ignorant to ignore THE BEST AFTER MARKET COMPANY then I am sorry. The 7AT clutches in the higher gears are not strong enough to deal with the constant abuse and thats where the tranny is failing. There is nothing anyone can do atm for the tranny since no after market parts are there yet untill sam devlops them. So for the time being people that want to TT or SC there cars just need to be a little more conservative or they are going to be looking for a new tranny. These are the facts and you need to accept them. If you can't get a 6MT
Frank

PS OHH yea I own a TT just for the record

Well congrats although you seem to have a nicely built car you've hurt your credibility on this forum. The truth of the matter is that 7AT's in their current state cannot hold up to the massive increases in torque. I hope your luck holds out the I'm pretty sure that when your tranny does go you'll quietly fade away.

Wow thanks....with so many haters on this forum I sure am worried about my rep....lol! I never talk crap, I only talk about what I know. I KNOW my tranny is still fine after 2000 miles. While I am spirited when driving, I am not abusive to my car......if something doesnt seem right, I dont keep driving and it goes to Z1 ASAP to be looked at.

In the end, you haters could be right and the 7AT might be the weak link when doing FI.......but, if mines still fine, in my world your still wrong. Its obvious that others have had problems but, when adding this much HP and TQ there are many variables involved that affect the long term durability of the egine and tranny.

Haters LOL. Man why are you so bitter? All people are doing is giving good information and you are flying off the hinges. I don't know why you think it's a insult to you. I am not going to get made when people tell me hey your stock clutch is going to go bad, Because it is the truth. I have over 2000 miles on my car with the stock clutch but the truth is it wont be able to handle this abuse over time and I will need to upgrade. Are you catching my drift and what others are saying? Relax and hope for the best but expect the worst. Worst being new tranny parts to handle the power and the best being it will last for another 2000 miles.

You might want to take a step back and see what people are writing, instead of just saying people are haters.

Bro, I'm still on the young and slightly immature side but you sound like a real dumb kid. Granted you might not be but you sound pretty immature using statements like "in my world." If you haven't already, grow up and learn how to take advice and constructive criticism. It is a public forum with many qualified opinions including those who have developed your TT kit.

I do listen and in general dont start trouble. On the previous page someone stated "the 7AT cant handle the power" and at this point thats not true and unfair because mine has and still is. That poster shoud have added "some" to his statements about the 7AT. Also, everyone keeps forgetting that the 7AT problems that have occurred are with the SC not TT. When I point this out to the "haters" their comeback is always "power is power" "HP is HP" "TQ is TQ" but I disagree. The TQ and HP curve is slightly different from a SC to a TT. Could this be the difference.....I dont know and neither does anyone else. My car has been TT'd for about 1 year and roughly 2000 miles and has had no tranny issues like the SC guys. Could it happen down the road.....maybe......maybe not. If it does, I wont shy away from letting everyone on here know I am having problems. I dont like Nismo's or 6MTs or body kits on the 370 but you dont see me bashing others that do like them. Until we "actually know" what caused shumby and others 7AT failures, we cant label the 7AT as at fault or bad or cant handle it.

Getting back on point, lets discuss those stock internals. I know we haven't seen one blow up due to FI yet but clearly it is a concern when power gets that high. I believe every high powered GTM built TT has installed a knock sensor so while they are confident they are proceeding with caution.

Nice setup. Getting to the point of scary though, isn't it? 11 psi on stock internals with an engine that's 11:1 compression to begin with seems like it's going to have longevity issues.

I've got 3 real questions though: 1) is that tuned for 93 octane or something even higher? Seems like you would need higher octane to prevent detonation under 11 pounds of boost while maintaining enough advance to get that kind of power. 2) the 509 whp graph is smooth where the 548 whp is rough. Is that a tune with more advance and the knock sensors are pulling some of the advance? if so, do you give the customer that tune and say, "no problem, it's safe", or do you give them the more conservative 509 whp tune? and 3) can you show us dyno's that start down at 2,500 rpm so we can see how streetable this car would be? 4k+ tells us what it will do at the track, but it would be miserable as a daily driver if the boost doesn't come on early.

Google Static VS Dynamic Compression, than factor in what the VVEL cam set up is capable of doing, and you may have a better understanding of why that isn't as scary as it would be in a something like a 350 Chevy engine or something similar that is a more basic engine.

looks good, is the first graph the dyno of the setup after it was tuned and the 2nd graph before it was tuned? 2nd looks rough.

Bring your tranny touched by god to the track and lets see how it does.
