Forced Induction for Noobs...

So... would we ever be able to get one of these threads geared towards the VQ37VHR, considering this is the 370 z.com? With more and more performance kits coming out

So... would we ever be able to get one of these threads geared towards the VQ37VHR, considering this is the370z.com? With more and more performance kits coming out for our cars every day, it seems that a sticky thread like this would only make sense. We have to add Fast Intentions to the GTM/Greddy party now.

Agree, just starting my research, I love my Z but want some more power, nothing too crazy but I'm not sure if bolt ins will be enough. Thanks for all the info, this thread has me strongly considering FI

when watching the video one page back here's a word of caution, that video is full of 1990's logic and a few general misconceptions so really just use it as a basic grounds if you will but a lot of it is wrong. "centrifugal superchargers are installed on stock engines because they don't make as much boost" <-bs centrifugal superchargers are installed on stock engines because they are cheaper, easier to integrate into modern engine controls(good luck getting positive displacement to work with your vvel), do not require a different manifold, and can easily be installed ahead of a throttle body( cant do this with positive displacement unless you wanna try tuning your car to idle while getting full boost lol). "centrifugals produce the least boost" <- the mans never seen any of the vortech units over the v-4 or any of the other companies huge units.

Edit i could keep going all day here but you get the point.
