alright just got back from dynoing the car so I will list the results for now till i can upload the graph since my scanner decided to stop working lol
max power i got was 446 max torque was 399.6 PSI was 10 AFR was 12.0 outside air temp was 98 deg with 15% humidity I spoke to sam and he is going to add a more aggressive tune to my rom since this one is good but is conservitive with pulling timing, were going to designate this as my daily driver map. You got to love GTM and there awsome customer service=) After I get the other tune file I will go back to the dyno to get new numbers and keep you all posted. Not trying to keep my thread on the top just want to give the best review I can for everyone that way they know what to expect and to make sure everyone knows what there getting with there hard earned money, but I must say GTM and the GTM kit is living well up to my expectations. Didn't have to purchase the tune since it is part of the turnkey kit with the gtm twin turbo. Quote:

Now to answer your question I am still running the stock flywheel and clutch. When i was planning on doing this the original idea was to replace them, but after reading about the people when they did this they were having slave issues and had to revert back to the stock ones made me change my mind. Also since there was no fix to this issue I didn't want to buy it and then have to worry about it one day failing. Also with the HP your goal is I would think you wouldn't need one. When they come out with a upgrade that fixes the issue and my stock one is burn up then i will move to a better one, but as long as mine is holding I feel there is no need to replace it since on cars that have been driving with this set up for about 20k miles are still going strong. Thats just food for thought to shave off a couple thousand until when you really need it. Thanks for your interest and questions, if anyone has anymore or would like a request to see something such as a specific picture or video please let me know. This thread isn't designated as DIY but was for the soul purpose as a review thread and to provide as much info to the whole community. Thanks again Frank |
