I guess my point is if you wanted quad tip you could have easily welded two dual-tips at the end of two pipes and shaved the weight of the extra two pipes and resonators.

Do you think that the GTR manifold might benefit the N/A guys as well or is it better suited to forced induction applications?

As far as NA guys are concerned I would not expect huge gains from it like we will probably see with the FI applications. However, We dont know yet... Sam and team are working on SEVERAL "TOP SECRET" projects involving the GTR intake manifold.... So stay tuned guys there is plenty of work that still needs to be done. From my discussions with Sam you guys will be getting a GREAT conversion kit including a cast lower intake manifold!!!
