No need to apologize RCZ, you have been very constructive during this whole build and I respect that. Some other newer members on the other hand have no respect for peoples build threads and feel it necessary to bring trash into the conversation. As far as spec goals I am not going to just throw numbers out there but rather let the final numbers speak for themselves. Sam told me on the phone thursday that the car is nearing completion and should be done in days rather then weeks. So I have already lined up my other shops to ASAP their build process for the new Audio system, Racing Air ride setup and body parts!!! Its really up to Sam to finalize this last bit of tuning and then the car will be just a few weeks from total completion.

I am debating on the next Z already and thinking of picking up a Vert... Maybe introduce a hardtop into the market if their is enough interest.

That's good to hear man

I hope I'm not one of the bad newbs :ugh2:

Hope all goes well with your project. I made the mistake of peeking over the other forum and tried to make a positive comment, but ended up getting scatter brained. Apologies to Sam, though... I got worried about my stuff and cracked.

So hopefully the fuel rails will be completed soon?

This is the OP's thread and if he wants a bit of civility that is his call.

All hater all the time gets old. Which is why the only place I bother to post over there is in the Mid-A area, and infrequently. I tried a few posts in the 370 area but response was lackluster at best and hater filled at worst. So I just go over there now to check on my friends.

Best of luck.

No just two cars lol... The other Z will come after white dragon sells... I don't want to sell but I have other plans and I want to promote our new product lines without all of the other contracts on the car. I want to continue to develop new parts and innovative designs for our platform.

Is the racing air ride suspension as good as kw v3 coilovers? Is the wing going to be taken off for a topspeed run? What LSD is the car going to run? Sorry for all the questions just trying to get ideas for my z

bullitt5897 04-27-2011 08:42 AM

Air ride technologies has a new product line that was not at Sema this year. Their new top of the line shocks will be made by fox racing. This will definitely be a great addition. Since it is a new product I am not sure how on the performance yet we will see when the car returns. As far as differential goes when I originally talked to sam and submitted my parts list te OS Giken rear diff was part of the build list. For the top speed run yes the wing will be removed.

I hope that helps.

I'd love to have it there for z dayz unfortunately with my work with Andrew on our new fenders, our work with Ark performance plus my new suspension, audio install and interior. I do not believe I will have the car shipped back in time for the show.

Maybe this was answered before but why are you going with an air ride suspension?

bullitt5897 04-27-2011 04:04 PM

Because this is more than a track car and I want to drive it on the street. Speed bumps rule my area of town.

dspiel 04-27-2011 04:41 PM

Well why not Roberto suspension on top of some nice coilovers? Your car is going to handle like a boat.

dspiel 04-27-2011 04:46 PM

This is what i am talking about in case you are wondering:

Those are blanket assumptions... You do not know the specs of this system. I will say this fox racing has a proven record and that is the brand of shocks going to be used. This car will not drive like a boat...

I'd love to see a quality air system. It's been done before, and I think it'd be sweet on your ride.
