wouldnt the increased flow of the lth help with power?

Btw, did GTM release maps for people with headers and upgraded cats? Or is everyone with those going to have to custom tune for the time being?

Higher flow in the header department can in some cases reduce boost on superchargers. As far as the tune goes, it would only make sense to save and reuse the tune that went into this build; for others with these LTH's but I cannot speak for Sam. Any word on this Sam?

Higher flow will always reduce boost, although it may increase power, provided the mixture doesn't blow out too quickly due to excessive valve overlap.

Boost is essentially a measure of restriction in flow.

Ultimately, boost is a somewhat variable number that doesn't tell the whole story -- what really matters is cfm and cylinder pressure

Bring on the dynos!!! :yum:

Wow...I can't believe we actually got married on the exact same day.

Err I should say, more cfm = more power...

Shumby congratulations. the first GTM SC in Canada.
I think that you should make a detour on your way home and give RCZ a ride in your car, You can tell him and show him how good the GTM is.
I'm sure Sam will pay for the gas.
I'm sure that he would love to see you.
you guys could kiss and make up.

lol. good one Z elim

On a side note about the air intake temps. you also have to remember that the intakes are now also getting cold air from the center bottom grill as there is nothing blocking this. If you were so inclined you could even add a difuser to iect more flow.

Waiting for the dyno of your car
