Good point. I was thinking high rpm/full load. Cars back in the 70's would have tip-in pinging and still last more than 100,000 miles.

It only seems to knock under load. Starting in first gear the knock would be very drastic. Switching to 2nd gear at around 3500 rpm there would be a light knock but only for very short period of time. While in motion with the higher gears it would not knock when i'm gradually giving it throttle. But if i throttle it a bit aggressively it would knock.

Yes i'm aware of tip-in pinging, some of my previous cars had this and still runs perfect till this day. But the pinging i'm getting here is head turning!! People would look at me like 'dude your car is messed!!' kind of look.

Im sure they could squeeze more power out Phi...im sure they could match their press release, but I think you should be happy your engine is going to last and you can actually use the power without worrying about the car blowing up.

bold statements for someone having to use race gas mixed in.......

Plus, those are claims that can be supported by......real world users that have a few thousand miles on their kits?
