maybe because its lighter... just a guess...

Nothing wierd about that. If you figure we can carry up to 19 gallons of fuel in the tank at ~6.7lbs per gallon, that's 127 lbs of fuel. If you've only got 3 gallons in the tank you've shaved over 100lbs of weight compared to fully fueled...

Just fired it up for the first time and she was purring like a kitten. The best part was the A/F were really good not any need to really mess with it. Kind of weird with the new larger injectors. oh well super excited to have the car totally tuned and done by Friday with hopefully some Dyno sheets.

Yup, just watch out for corners as you may stall out and not be able to restart.

How is your idle?

Update from stillen: still after two weeks no tune for my car. I wouldnt buy the carb kit till they figure out how to tune it.

I think you should just send them the kit back, its plain to see that you're not happy with it.

I would rather them refund the money it would cost to get it tuned by someone else. Seems people are getting better results when someone besides stillen tunes it

You could have Chris at Failsafe, I have seen 3 TT's and he will be doing my SC tune.

My shop called today. The car drives like ****. I keep getting check engine lights. Its running to rich. Very hard idle. Black smoke out of the exhaust when i stsrt the engine. Very jerky and major lag when i try to excelerate.

My idle was great with good A/F, which was a little weird with the larger injectors but I am using my current tune for all my other stuff before the kit to start. i had Chris richen everything up and It seems to a perfect start. Which is a huge sigh because that seems to be the worst part of tuning TT's
